Bonnie Whitmore: Sending a Positive Message Through Music

Today, I’m joined by singer, guitarist, and cello player Bonnie Whitmore.

Bonnie has been playing music since she was just 8 years old and her life revolves around performing.

She talks to me about how the lockdown has affected her life, and the ways she’s moved her performances online.

The conversation moves to our personal lives and the self-care techniques Bonnie uses to help with her depression.

She’s also passionate about sending a positive message through her music and we discuss the toxic masculinity that is all too present in today’s society...

“You’ve got to comfort the disturbed and disturb the comforted and that’s my job.” - Woody Guthrie
